As of 8/30/21, Isla Contadora no longer requires visitors to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test result in order to come to the island."

Not your one-size-fits-all tour company.

There are many price differences and options depending on specifics like language, professional interests and most of all whether you’re looking for the least expensive or the most all-encompassing adventure which many times you can book for just a fraction more in cost but gain twice or three times the overall value. Although we are headquartered on Isla Contadora, we provide our services to the circle of islands that include the two inhabited islands, Contadora and Saboga, and four uninhabited islands all within a five-mile radius. We call it the Circle of Adventure.

Our guests tend to be adventurous and looking for something besides a “cookie-cutter” tour; a learning experience built into a memory of island life and activities.

We build value into a tour starting with the price of the boat best equipped and the guide and captain most experienced for the type of tour that you want.

With a wonder-waterland so diverse – it is not one size fits all. It’s about matching you with the best combination of equipment and services on any given day.

We charge $25 to custom build and book your tour – to manage your expectations so that you have the best possible day. We wave the $25 charge when you book a guided tour. Why is that a good deal? Because we know about the day’s weather, tides, moon phases and we take that into consideration as well as each boat’s equipment and the captain and/ guide’s expertise. And … we are available to you from the time you leave until the time you return to handle any issues or special requests.

Many people have asked, ‘what kind of boats do we use for tour’. For most snorkeling, island hopping, etc., we choose to use local pangeros (native fishermen) whose traditional fishing boats operate directly off of beaches.

It is important to us to support the local fishermen, and of course they are expert in their water and boat skills.

Pangas are a type of modest-sized, open, outboard-powered, fishing boat common throughout much of the developing world, including Central America, the Caribbean, parts of Africa, the Middle East, and much of Asia.

We also have options for sport-fishing boats for people whose priority is off-shore fishing. And… we have special sailing tours. So, we customize our choices of vessels and gear to suit the guests.

The type of boat, and the captain, are carefully selected for their skills and their personalities. Each tour consists of a captain, the boat and a guide who is also the in-water snorkel and spearfishing guide.
